How to book your IELTS test

Step 1: Select your test centre

  • list?.image?.titleSelect a test centre where you would like to take the IELTS test

Step 2: Choose the format that works for you

  • list?.image?.titleChoose between IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training
  • list?.image?.titleChoose a test format between IELTS on paper and IELTS on computer

Step 3: Pick a date & time for your IELTS test

  • list?.image?.titleChoose when you would like to take your IELTS test at a date and time that suit you best
  • list?.image?.titleDepending on your test centre, your Speaking test date may be on the same day (or before/after) as the other test sections

Step 4: Complete the online IELTS application

  • list?.image?.titleFill out the details required in the application form and click submit
  • list?.image?.titleDon't forget to upload a clear copy of your passport

Step 5: Pay the application fee

  • list?.image?.titleChoose to pay using a Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, PayPal, or AliPay*
  • list?.image?.titleMake sure your card is valid and activated for online transactions
  • list?.image?.title*Every test centre will have different payment options available

Booking confirmation

  • list?.image?.titleOnce you have completed all 5 steps, you will get an email or phone message confirming your IELTS test booking
