What is an IELTS eTRF?
An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is an official certificate detailing the results you obtained in a full IELTS test. It's an important document for anyone who has taken an IELTS test, as it provides an official record of their English language proficiency.
An IELTS eTRF is a digital version of the IELTS Test Report Form. It's the same IELTS TRF you know, delivered digitally.
The eTRF has the same key details about your IELTS test performance. These include:
Personal details: A TRF includes a test taker's full name, date of birth, nationality, and photograph.
Test scores: The TRF includes the test taker's achieved scores for each of the four test skills, as well as an overall band score. The IELTS band score is a number between 0 and 9, with 9 being the highest possible score.
Test report form verification: A TRF also always includes a unique reference number. Organisations that accept IELTS use this TRF number to verify the authenticity of the document.
Who can access the eTRF?
eTRFs are now available for customers who sit the IELTS on computer test at eligible test centres in Australia. The eTRF will be available in your booking profile as a downloadable PDF file.

Benefits of an eTRF
Easy access and sharing: With an eTRF, there's no need to wait for your results to be delivered by post. You can access your scores digitally as soon as they are made available to you in your booking profile.
Safe and reliable: eTRFs are secure and can only be accessed through your personal IELTS profile. You can trust that your scores are accurate and reliable and this reduces the risk of losing your results.
No wastage: eTRFs will reduce paper waste, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to the paper Test Report Forms.
Sharing your results
With an eTRF, you can send your IELTS results to as many organisations as you wish, with no additional fee. Most organisations require you to provide the IELTS TRF number. You can find this on your eTRF.
If your organisation requires an official, paper Test Report Form, please contact the test centre where you sat your test. They will be able to assist you. Alternatively, you can contact IELTS Customer Support.
