IDP IELTS Test Centre Alice Springs
At IDP IELTS Alice Springs, Speaking tests are usually held on the Friday before your test from approximately 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The Writing, Reading and Listening tests are conducted on Saturdays. The Alice Springs test venue details will be emailed to you prior to your test so you can plan your travel.

Important information about your IELTS test
The cost for an IELTS test in Australia is AUD$550.00. The price for the test is the same whether you take IELTS General Training or IELTS Academic. It's also the same whether you do IELTS on a computer or paper. There is no separate registration fee, payment processing fee, or late payment fee.
*Note that in some regional areas the test fee can be higher.
Please submit a change request form if you'd like to change your test module, reschedule your test or cancel your test.
Test module changes must be made at least 4 days before the test date. Tests can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 5 days before the test.
Please let us know either on the day or up to 5 days after your test date. Kindly provide us with a medical certificate and we will transfer you to the next available date of your choosing.
An IELTS test is not the place to be if you are unwell – we would rather you rest up and recover.
Please arrive with your passport no later than 30 minutes before your test (20 minutes for a Speaking test). We recommend that you leave plenty of time for your journey to allow for any unexpected delays.
In the event you’re running late, please contact us to let us know as soon as possible.
Yes, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If your Speaking test time has been changed by us to ensure the smooth running of the day’s test schedule, rest assured that you will be notified.
Yourself, your passport, and a clear bottle of water with no label (water is available at the centre). Everything else that you need will be provided.
We do reserve the right to change the time of your speaking test to ensure that the schedule runs as smoothly as possible on the day for the majority of our customers.
