Important information about your IELTS test
Our address is Unit 8, 532 Station Street, Box Hill, VIC 3128.
We are located on the corner of Harrow St & Station St. Please enter the entranceway with 532 above it and head to Level 1.

Parking
There is limited street parking and two paid car parks close to the Test Centre that are available.
Paid carparks:
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your Listening/Reading/Writing test with a valid passport. If you arrive later than 10 minutes before your test, you may not be allowed to take the test.
For the Speaking test, please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you’re late, you may not be permitted to take the test.
If your test commences at 9:30 am, you'll be able to enter the building from 9.00 am.
You must bring your valid passport or a pre-approved ID. Only original and current passports or pre-approved IDs are accepted. Photocopies or certified copies won't be accepted.
You can bring an unlabelled, see-through water bottle. We provide pencils and erasers, so you don't need to bring your own stationery into the test room
For IELTS on computer (IOC), you can ONLY request an update of the module (AC/GT) for the same test session up to 2 days before your test date.
Unfortunately, once a session booking is closed (2 days before your test date), no changes can be made - cancellation, refund or transfer requests will not be accepted in this case.

You must use the same ID you used to book your test. You can still apply to sit the IELTS test in Australia if you don’t have a passport, however only for three specific scenarios given below. The following options will have to go through our Verification of Identity process before being accepted.
In exceptional circumstances, and when a test taker does not have a valid passport or national identity card, please contact us at least one week before your preferred test date. Approval for alternative ID must be received before the test day. Without prior approval, you'll not be able to sit the test and transfers and refunds will not be available.
Yes, all IELTS on computer tests at Australian Institute of Language (AIL) are eligible for IELTS One Skill Retake. You can take one IELTS One Skill Retake for each full IELTS test you've taken at an eligible centre within 60 days of the original full test date.
Please note that IELTS One Skill Retake is currently not available for IELTS on paper.
